We moved the bilingual catalogue of Apsis Grup Metal, the sales and technical support partner for ASAŞ aluminium architectural systems, from WordPress to Astro with its new design; old addresses and search visibility were kept.

The project in four lines: what was needed, what we did, which systems we built and what came out of it.
01THE CHALLENGE
Hundreds of product, category and PDF pages on WordPress (Elementor, TranslatePress) had to be presented more clearly to architects and installers in two languages and moved to a new structure without losing the old addresses or search visibility.
02THE SOLUTION
- Extracting the catalogue data from the live site; 202 page addresses kept exactly, 2261 old addresses redirected with 301
- A category structure for seven system families and aluminium composite; product pages on one template with technical spec table, gallery and PDF catalogue
- A technical depth section with marked points on the section drawing (RWT75)
- A document centre grouping brochures, catalogues, certificates and quality documents by type; large PDFs compressed without changing their content
- Turkish and English content; Turkish addresses kept on the English side too, with hreflang
- Structured data (organisation, business, page, breadcrumbs) and an SEO audit tied to the build
- Published on Cloudflare; the domain moved to Cloudflare while e-mail stayed with the existing provider
