Hisar Kilit Website
We moved the bilingual catalogue of Hisar Kilit, a maker of locks, hinges and cylinders since 1987, from WordPress to Astro with its new design; a quote list and its own management panel replaced the sign-up-only quote plugin.

The project in four lines: what was needed, what we did, which systems we built and what came out of it.
01THE CHALLENGE
The 400+ product catalogue on WooCommerce and TranslatePress had to move to a faster, simpler structure while keeping its addresses and search visibility, and the quote flow that required an account had to become one that does not tire the buyer.
02THE SOLUTION
- 584 addresses (TR + EN), 27 categories and 309 tags kept on the same paths; sitemaps under their old file names
- Adding products to a quote list with options and quantity; quote requests without sign-up, with products and options re-checked on the server
- A confirmation e-mail to the customer in their own language; notifications sent from the company's own mail server
- Management panel: a summary screen (new requests, requested quantities, win rate, most requested products), quote and message lists, status tracking, internal notes, CSV and KVKK deletion
- A dark but simple new design; a product showcase on the homepage and the company's 40-country export map
- Product images from the company's own renders; technical selection guides (blog), site search and e-catalogue
- A company-specific Hisar ERP (in development): e-invoicing and single-record accounts through the Paraşüt integration, product cards, shelf-addressed and barcoded stock, export processes with CBRT exchange rates, staff check-in with QR and location verification

- Buyers can request quotes for several products without signing up
- Quotes are followed with their status in the panel, with the win rate visible
- Old WordPress addresses open unchanged on the new site
